Joel J. Todd
Joel Todd is a native of the Berlin-Ocean City area. He has been a trial attorney for more than 30 years and has tried cases from speeding tickets, to drunken driving charges to first degree murder. As a former prosecutor and State’s Attorney, working mostly in Worcester County and Wicomico County, he is uniquely aware of the nuances of the criminal justice system and is ready to use his skills to handle your case. Joel began his career in public service at age 30.
For Joel, relaxation is a “pipe dream” in that he has been a bagpiper nearly as long as he has been an attorney.
Joel has been actively involved in the community most of his adult life, serving formerly as a member of the board of directors of Diakonia, and the Cricket Center (Worcester County Child Advocacy Center) in Berlin and is a past president of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Joel has been a Master Mason since 1978, having served as Master of Evergreen Lodge #153, A.F. & A.M. in Berlin Maryland in 2002. He was awarded the coveted “Berlin Award” in 2011 for his community activity and volunteerism in the Berlin, Maryland area.
